Canada just celebrated our 149th year since leaving the nest that is Great Britain. But let’s be real – independent as we may be, we all still melt when we hear a good British accent or see a British bulldog. It’s safe to say we haven’t totally forgotten our roots. We spell colour with a ‘U’ and the queen still gives us a judgmental glance as we spend our money on yet another drink at the bar.
