5 Reasons We Can’t Wait For Field Trip!Posted on May 31, 2017
Field Trip is legit righttt around the corner (this weekend – hollaaaaa!) and we are SO EXCITED for this Toronto based festival!
See WHY we can’t wait for the weekend to roll around:
1. The Music
What’s a festival without music? Acts this year include indie pop artist, Feist, alt rock Phoenix and even indie rockers, Broken Social Scene plus, many more including Joseph, Overcoats, James Vincent McMorrow, Nefe, Tei Shi, Bernice, Walrus, Badbadnotgood, Hannah Georgas and Timber Timbre. These artists will all be gracing the stage with their performances and we cannot wait to watch what they have in store for us! What will they sing? Any special guests? Special effects? Ahhh we need to see!! See the full lineup here ..there are so many sick acts!!
2. The Food
Come on, we all know that festival food is THE best (just see below for what we had at a festival last week if you don’t agree with that statement). We can’t wait to get our hands on some!!!
3. The Laugh Barracks
Who doesn’t like a good laugh? One aspect we love about this festival in particular, is the comedy stage, where local comedians can perform stand-up for an audience. We can’t wait to see what one liners and stories they have to tell! We’re sure we’re going to look like this kitten the whole time…
4. The Outdoor Aspect
This festival, as well as like, all others, takes place outdoors. What makes this festival special though is the art present throughout the grounds. As you walk from stage to stage, you are fully immersed in gorgeous art. There is tons to see — plus, bonus: anticipated weather seems to be sunny and hot (finallyyyy)!
5. Chilling With Friends
Not only will this be a weekend for you to hang with your friends, but Field Trip is a place where you can meet TONS of friendly concert-goers and has a community-like vibe to it. Who doesn’t like to meet new people? We’ve made so many friends there over the years!
