Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do” video is an epic blockbuster, with dozens of doppelgangers, insane special effects, and tons of easter eggs for fans to uncover.
We recently shared a clip teasing the behind-the-scenes look, but now we’re getting the full peek into how it all came together. With an ensemble of extras, mountains of special effects make-up, and more than a few green screens, Taylor transforms multiple times over the course of the video.
The first version of ‘Taylor’ we’re introduced to is the zombie edition… which we didn’t recognize right away as our beloved T-Swift. Here’s how the frightening look came together:
When the climax of the video hits and all of Taylor’s past selves come together, we get a sneak peek in how the effect was created, thanks to a little help from a few lookalikes:
One scene that wasn’t all special effects: Taylor soaring high off the ground in a birdcage swing (a little safety harness goes a long way, though!) Watch how she pulled the stunt off below:
