Sam Smith Is The Perfect End To Live Lounge MonthPosted on October 2, 2017
What better way to finish off Live Lounge month than with the one and only Sam Smith.
Sam Smith brings in a small intimate audience as the final Live Lounge guest for the month of September. As the final guest, he actually puts on a 9-song concert, that we all wish we were at!
His performance of hit song “Too Good At Goodbyes” was accompanied by vocals from the audience. Watching this song live, you can see the smile that radiates off his face with how happy he is that fans are enjoying the new music! ❤️
Live Lounge is known for having artists choose a song that they would like to cover – in Sam’s case, he chose to do “Father Figure” by George Michael. Thinking you may not know this song? Take a listen and you will recognize it right away! It’s something special – because in Sam Smith fashion, there’s a little surprise near the end of the song.
Since we could not get enough of his voice, we found a second cover online! Sam covered the one and only Alicia Keys, “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart”.
And if that wasn’t enough, he decided to drop this acoustic version of “Too Good At Goodbyes“. I mean.. anything acoustic just sounds even more incredible coming from Sam’s soulful voice!
What did everyone think about the last guest for Live Lounge month? We think that Sam Smith was the perfect choice!
