Watch Sam Smith Belt Out His Hit Songs On Carpool Karaoke With James CordenPosted on November 3, 2017
Instead of emotional tears, we see Sam Smith burst with excitement when he comes face-to-face with a surprise.
Carpool Karaoke on The Late Late Show With James Corden will always be one of our favourite segments. With the addition of a Sam Smith appearance, James Corden just earned himself a few more thumbs up from us @umusic.
After doing a ton of public appearances to promote his new album, The Thrill Of It All, Sam Smith finally found himself in the front seat of James Corden’s car.
One of our favourite moments from the segment has to be on the subject of Sam Smith’s wedding plans. “I want a funeral for my single self before my wedding. I’m in a coffin and there’s these PowerPoint presentations about my single life and how fun it was. Everyone’s crying, and then I’ll rise from the coffin. Everyone then, takes off their black clothes and they’re wearing white, then the wedding will begin.” Although outside the box (literally), the creative approach brought to us by Sam makes for a great laugh.
The two continue to sing their way through Carpool Karaoke with some of Sam’s famous ballads. The songs include, “Too Good At Goodbyes”, “Lay Me Down,” “I’m Not the Only One,” “Money on My Mind,” “Pray,” and “Stay with Me.”
Just when you think that’s the end – Fifth Harmony show up! Sam, who is a huge Harmonizer doesn’t hide his excitement towards the girl group. Together they sing “Work From Home”, which we think Sam should DEFINITELY do a cover of!
Without a doubt, if you’re a fan of the Carpool Karaoke series, than you need to take some time for this one. Sam Smith belting his heart out to a ton of his hit songs, and the little feature from Fifth Harmony is more than we expected.
