It’s never too early for Christmas.
With the release of Gwen Stefani’s new album, You Make It Feel Like Christmas we can’t help but get into the Christmas spirit a bit earlier this year. The album was originally released back in October, but now that we’re well into November, it’s time to get fully on board with the holiday spirit. Agreed? Agreed.
The singer announced she’ll be hosting her own holiday special that will air on NBC called Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas. The special will be a “modern take on traditional Christmas specials.” What does this mean? The hour-long program will feature holiday themed sketches and musical performances.
It’s rumoured that we will see a duet with Blake Shelton and appearances by Chelsea Handler, Ken Jeong, Seth MacFarlane and Ne-Yo. With that line-up, we’re sure it’ll be an entertaining night. In addition, Gwen will perform both original songs off You Make It Feel Like Christmas, and a couple traditional tunes. Expect to hear some “Jingle Bells,” and “Silent Night.” The ultimate classics.
“Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year,” Stefani said. “I am excited to share the joy of this holiday season. Giving audiences a peek into favorite Christmas traditions and enjoying some of the music, old and new, that makes the holiday so special.”
Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas will air on December 12th at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
