And she’s just getting started
You might recognize Pennsylvania-born Sabrina Carpenter from various Disney Channel shows like “Girl Meets World” or “The Goodwin Games”. Well, we can guarantee that pretty soon you’ll be recognizing her for something else entirely: her music.
Sabrina released her debut EP Can’t Blame a Girl for Trying at only fifteen years old. Her collab with Jonas Blue, “Alien” is a rhythm-driven bop that you definitely can’t help but dance along to. Sabrina wasn’t just a feature, she co-wrote the the song, proving she’s got some diverse writing chops.
Now, she’s back with her brand new single “Almost Love” and we’re calling it now – it’ll be on every single summer hit playlist. She released the lyric video for the song earlier this month so you have zero excuses when it comes to learning the lyrics. Check it out:
She has yet to name a date for her upcoming third studio album, Singular, but she did announce that it will be coming sometime during the winter of 2018. Spilling on the creative process of the record, Sabrina said that while writing this album, she “really opened up”, and that she hopes the songs make her fans feel fearless and have fun. Based off “Almost Love” alone, we can’t wait to hear the rest of the album!
