Doncaster’s Yungblud is a rockstar for the 21st century.
Having amassed a cult following over the past year, the 22 year old singer returned to Toronto to perform in front of a sold-out crowd at The Danforth Music Hall.
The punk rock trailblazer kicked off his set with 21st Century Liability, the title track to his debut LP, released last summer. As a nod to his long- time fans, Yungblud followed up with a series of deep cuts such as King Charles and Polygraph Eyes. Smiling from ear to ear, Yungblud took a moment to shout-out to his father in attendance as a perfect segue into Parents.

Emerging in the center of the crowd, Yungblud decided it was time for a change of pace, with a performance of his acoustic ballad, Kill Somebody. It was a calm passing of time as fans lit up the venue with their phones.
Returning to the stage, Yungblud closed out the evening with I Think I’m OKAY, and California, before returning for an encore, highlighted by Hope For The Underrated Youth.
Yungblud remains determined in reminding his fans the importance of self acceptance, and embracing your true self – making him a champion for today’s youth.
