On “Hot Mess,” produced by Mike Irish, the 21-year old developing singer, rapper, and producer fuses melodic vocals and entrancing instrumentals. The vibrant track takes the listener on a journey through Masi’s complex thoughts on love and relationships. This year the new Interscope artist released his debut track, “Nightlife,” a hazy and hypnotic track built on tropically inspired production and shortly after, “Stardust,” which led Lyrical Lemonade to call the newcomer “one of [their] new favorites to listen to this year.” Both tracks were featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday and undoubtedly showcase his versatility and ability to merge various sounds effortlessly.
