RECEIVES FIRST-EVER MTV EMA NOMINATION FOR BEST CANADIAN ACT ALONGSIDE SHAWN MENDES, AVRIL LAVIGNE, CARLY RAE JEPSEN AND ALESSIA CARA
“ALL THESE PARTIES” SINGLE HAS GAINED OVER 2 MILLION STREAMS TO-DATE
07 OCTOBER 2019 (TORONTO, ON) – Johnny Orlando releases the video for his new single and anti-party track “All These Parties” via Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading music company. Premiering this past Saturday at 9am EST, the video was directed by video producer/director, Alex P Smith (UMC) and sees Orlando in the thick of the aftermath of a raging house party. The official video and the lyric video have amassed over 943,000 views combined and show no signs of slowing down. The “All These Parties” single was released on September 20 and has already gained over 2 million streams to-date.
"This was hands down the most fun I have ever had shooting a music video,” says Orlando. “We basically just got to have a big party on set, which definitely comes across in the video. We even had a parrot and a giant snake…it was crazy."
Last week, Orlando received his first-ever EMA nomination for Best Canadian Act alongside Shawn Mendes, Avril Lavigne, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Alessia Cara. On October 16, Orlando will perform at WE Day Halifax in front of thousands of students and teachers from across the Maritimes at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
