15 November 2018 (Toronto, ON) – Icelandic BAFTA-winning artist, composer, musician and producer Ólafur Arnalds has already performed 50 shows on his extensive world tour – and to mark the milestone, he’s releasing a brand new live video of “undir”.

The stunning one-take video was filmed by award-winning director and cinematographer Mark Waters at the London Palladium during Ólafur’s two-show residency there in late October. Just over eight minutes long, the video captures the extraordinary live performance of “undir” – a track that appears on Ólafur’s latest album, re:member (out now via Mercury KX/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company). Listen to re:member HERE. Watch the official live video HERE.

Ólafur says: “An album is like a photograph, a still image of how the songs were developed at the time of their recording, but it’s not the end. The music from re:member has continued to develop as I've been playing it every night on tour and particularly ‘undir’ has become one of my favourite moments of the show so it felt right to capture that.”

Ólafur has just completed the European leg of his world tour, performing 32 concerts in 35 days. After a quick stop in his native Iceland to play Iceland Airwaves, he’s now back on the road for a handful of shows in the US and Australia respectively. He’ll finish 2018 with a home town show in Reykjavík, Iceland on December 18th.

Ólafur’s enormous world tour begins again in January and will see him circle the globe a couple of times throughout 2019 and beyond. Each show offers a unique perspective on Ólafur’s album re:member as he brings together his self-playing Stratus pianos alongside a live band and stunning light display. As one critic said, “time seemed to be suspended”*.
