Bass Tech Jez Webb shares a Zoom reunion with band bass player Neil Fairclough at a time when they would otherwise have been winding down in Madrid, Spain, after Queen + Adam Lambert’s final 2020 European tour show. But that will have to wait until May next year when the postponed tour is scheduled to resume.
Conceived and produced by Tour Video Director, Steve Price who has worked with Queen + Adam Lambert since 2014 directing all the video elements of the show, Steve has been keeping himself busy during current times creating this series of ‘lockumentary’ shorts aimed at providing a rare insight into what it is like being a member of the Rhapsody Road Crew.
‘Roadies in Lockdown’ introduces us to the people behind the complexities, magic and hard work that goes in to putting on the huge production that is a Queen + Adam Lambert live show, with behind the scenes and concert footage shot at venues across the globe.

Roadies in Lockdown:
Episode 2 (4.07):“Jez has everything under control, it’s like a sixth sense.” – Friday, July 3
Jez Webb - Bass Tech
Jez Webb, Bass Tech, who’s relatively new to the Queen Family, appears to share a ‘bromance’ with his charge, Queen + Adam Lambert’s long-standing bass player, Neil Fairclough from Manchester, England. We see their interaction on stage during a Q + AL show and watch them catch up with each other on Zoom during lockdown and learn and laugh with them as to why at times it is all about the bass and that solo. As well as looking after Neil, Jez is also responsible for Brian’s set up for his acoustic performance on the B-Stage.
Coming next: “…about Roger and that scuba mask.”
