04 OCTOBER 2019 (TORONTO, ON) – Today artist Eli Rose revealed the artwork for her upcoming self-titled album out on November 1 via Maison Barclay Canada / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The stunning artwork was shot by LM Chabot, a Montréal based photographer duo Jolianne L’Allier Matteau and Alexandre Chabot. Along with the album artwork the singer-songwriter shared “Dis-moi” available now as an instant grat track when pre-ordering the album, which can be done HERE. Stream the track HERE.
The Francophone singer has been on a creative journey, writing and compiling songs for her debut full length album. Commenting on the process and Dis-moi, Eli remarked, “'Dis-moi' is a song I wrote a couple of years ago on the guitar when I was focused on more folk leaning music. Seeing as this album is composed exclusively on electro beats I wanted a song to tie it all together, something organic and stripped down, the missing piece to the record. By chance I stumbled upon an old recording of 'Dis-moi' on my phone. As soon as I rediscovered the song I asked Alex Dumais to compose a piano arrangement for it. And, after our studio session I knew I had found the song to complete my album.”
“Dis-moi” follows the release of “Origami”, which features hip hop artist Fouki. Listen to “Origami” HERE and watch the music video HERE. Eli is set to perform select concert dates starting later this month in Paris, France and Canada. Earlier this summer, Eli won audiences over at Canadian Music Week in Toronto, Les Francos festival in Montréal, and Oberkampf Music Festival in Paris, France.
