NEWLY REMASTERED RECORDING OF THEIR CLASSIC ALBUM RECORDED LIVE IN WINNIPEG, EDMONTON AND REGINA IN JULY 1983
23 AUGUST 2019 (TORONTO, ON) – Today, JUNO Award-winning band Streetheart release the remastered reissue of their 1983 live album, Life After Dark, via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.
Originally recorded during their July 1983 tour dates in Winnipeg, Edmonton and Regina, the high-powered live recordings of Live After Dark capture an historic moment in the band's career. Remastered and packaged within a special 1CD or 2LP reissue, Life After Dark also includes a new forward written by the band and a collection of tour photos from the Streetheart archives.

Life After Dark is a celebration of the band’s career that has now spanned over 40 years. Comprised of 15 tracks, the album includes fan favourites such as “Action” (the lead track from their 1978 debut album Meanwhile Back in Paris…), “What Kind Of Love Is This” (the highest-charting single written by the band), and “Look In Your Eyes” (from their Double-Platinum self-titled album).
Following the release of their special compilation album Life. Legacy. Music. earlier this year, Streetheart returned to their first live shows since the band’s two-year hiatus to mark and honour the passing of Kenny Shields. Currently, the band is continuing their summer tour throughout Canada with Daryl Gutheil, Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve and Jeff Neill being joined by Paul McNair (Harlequin) on lead vocals and David Langguth (Kim Mitchell/Nelly Furtado) on drums.
