Disclosure’s long awaited second studio album, Caracal, including singles “Holding On,” “Omen,” featuring Sam Smith and “Jaded,” has finally arrived! Its name, ‘Caracal,’ refers to a desert lynx, playing on the notion of being “completely unique” with no comparison to the everyday crowd.
Disclosure’s sound undoubtedly stands out in a crowd, blending dance/electronic records with a hint of pop. With one listen to the album, you get a taste of their sound, especially on records such as “Nocturnal” featuring The Weeknd, who has also recently added hints of pop to his deep and dark R&B roots. For those of you who still loop hit record ‘‘Latch,” listening to the newly featured Sam Smith record “Omen,” is an absolute must.
