Don't You "Worry," Jack Garratt's Video Has Arrived!

Posted on February 22, 2016

Jack Garratt released his debut studio album, Phase, on February 19 2016.

Along with it, came a music video for the hit single, “Worry.

The video is very reminiscent of a late 90s home video. Think: A Joey Tribbiani TV audition takes K.I.D’s “I Wish I Was Your Cigarette” music video. It sounds like a bizarre combination out loud, but we’re so drawn to Jack Garratt‘s video with all it’s quirkiness, that we really can’t look away.

The actors take on the literal feelings of the song, showing worried emotions, as they lip sync Garratt’s lyrics in monologue pieces. Between clips of the very serious auditions, we see Jack Garratt himself rocking out on his one-man, multi-instrument setup. When the hardcore instrumentals hit about three quarters in, we see Garratt get really into playing….the tennis racket?

We love the idea that Jack Garratt gets stuck in an audition tape, auditioning for his own video!!!

It’s so meta. You’ve gotta watch the full thing:
