After weeks of teasing Nick Jonas has officially released his first single, “Close” feat. Tove Lo, off his upcoming album. Just as we expected, there’s about to be another Jonas Storm. Not only is the single here, but it’s accompanied by potentially the hottest video of the year – Nick even gave us a warning!
This music video tomorrow is gonna require a few cold showers afterwords… @ToveLo

Growing off his past R&B/pop fusion hits , Nick Jonas teamed up with Tove Lo to deliver a passionate first single, and we can’t wait to hear his full album, Last Year Was Complicated. Before releasing “Close,” Nick took to twitter to give fans more info the day before it’s release:
Tomorrow night I’m gonna show the world the first single. — Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) March 24, 2016
When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about… Then I had a breakup.
— Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) March 24, 2016
It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep. — Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) March 24, 2016
Shit is too real sometimes… Reliving some of these real life experiences through this music is hard.
— Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) March 24, 2016
But I know it’s important that I do it. I want to be an open book in my art.. — Nick Jonas (@nickjonas) March 24, 2016
The first song you’re gonna hear tomorrow night is about how I literally can’t open up and be vulnerable with someone..

In line with the album release, Nick has released the cover art for Last Year Was Complicated, as well as the pre-order. We can’t help but love how vulnerable Nick Jonas is being with his new music, and based off the deeply personal track, “Close,” we have a feeling the full album is going to give us an even deeper look into the singer’s mind. We’re super excited for June 10th!
