Just a few days ago, we were surprised with the new theme song “Sledgehammer” for the movie Star Trek: Beyond, which was sang beautifully by the one and only Rihanna. Now, we get to watch the amazing video, which Rihanna spent all day yesterday teasing us about.
We even got to get a glimpse into why this song is so special to RiRi as she talks about her love for the legendary franchise:

The music video is the first ever to premiere in an IMAX movie theatre, as it did this morning. It is beautifully created, as is the song, and we couldn’t have picked a more magical song, video, or artist to be a part of what is sure to be another classic film.
