OMG: Lady Gaga + Florence Welch Set To Collaborate!

Posted on September 12, 2016

Lady Gaga is keeping us on our toes with her new single “Perfect Illusion”, off of her upcoming fifth album, and an array of extraordinary collaborations.

In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1, the Queen of pop reveals her collaboration on “Hey Girl” with Florence Welch, the lead vocalist behind Florence + The Machine:

“Me and Florence Welch did a duet together. I started to work on an idea for a song that I really wanted to do with a girl…” she said. “I just thought, ‘Who do I want to sing with?’ She’s really to me if not the best, one of the greatest vocalists in the world. She’s incredible.”

And we’re glad the feeling is mutual:

The two have been praising each other for years, so it’s no wonder they finally came together to record a track.

As if that isn’t enough music to your ears, the new album will feature additional collabs with Beck, Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), and Father John Misty. Her latest single “Perfect Illusion” was written and produced with Mark Ronson and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker!

We can’t wait to see what kind of sounds and sights these new and unique collaborations will have in store.
