As if there wasn’t enough reason to check out the World Cup of Hockey already! Sam Roberts Band and The Killers will both perform at Friday’s Pepsi World Cup of Hockey Premiere Party. Hosted by Jay Baruchel, the kick-off fiesta will all go down in the Distillery District of Toronto.
Sam Roberts Band – Fiend
The Scotiabank World Cup of Hockey Fan Village will run for 10 days from September 16 to 25. Alongside the hockey, the festival will also have food and culture events from all participating nations! Feel free to head down to the area, open for free to the public. The concert, however, is a ticketed event. You can purchase passes here! Sam Roberts will play at 6:10 PM while the Killers will go on at approximately 8:15 PM.
The Killers – Mr. Brightside
The 2016 World Cup Of Hockey is an international tournament with Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Sweden, the United States, rest of Europe, and 23-and-under North American team facing off for the cup.
