Now six albums into their career, Metric have truly perfected their live show.
They stopped by the Danforth Music Hall to give Lotto Max contest winners who #DareToDream the show of a lifetime.
Before the music even began, the lobby was FILLED With awesome things to do, like green screen photoshoots and… well, let the video speak for itself:

Now for the music!
Metric‘s catalogue is FILLED with hits, and we were pleased to see a ton of our favourites get some live love. “Help I’m Alive”, “Dead Disco”, and “Gold Gun Girls” filled our hearts with so much joy:

We were also BLOWN AWAY by lead singer Emily Haines’ glow-in-the-dark cape. We’ll take ten!

Acoustic versions of “Gimme Sympathy” and “Combat Baby” also brought new light to some of our favourites.
From Emily’s perfect vocals to the tight drums and guitar solos that ripped through the venue, the show proved to be beyond our wildest dreams.
