BANKS' New Album The Altar is Heaven on Earth

Posted on September 30, 2016

BANKS is back. Her highly anticipated sophomore album The Altar has finally landed.

With the success of her previous album Goddess, we are thrilled that the alt-pop angel decided to bless us with another inspiring album.

But we’re not the only ones inspired. BANKS gets personal in a note to her friends, family, and fans:

“Thank you everyone who supported me in making this body of work. I am so grateful to have been able to create something pure alongside you…To all my fans! For connecting and growing with me. I love you more than words can say”.

We couldn’t be more proud. BANKS has come a long way since Goddess. The new album “The Altar” is far more enchanting than the last. BANKS essentially strips down, channeling our focus on her incredible vocals and ability to experiment.

But even through experimentation, each song is carefully constructed to give The Altar fluidity. With spiritual titles like “Poltergeist”, “Judas”, and “Haunt”, the album has a certain divine aura, embodied by the diva herself.

If you loved “F**k With Myself”, “Gemini Feed“ and “To The Hilt” each released earlier this year, you’re going to fall in love with the whole album.
