Have no fear, The Weeknd is here! Prepare yourself for what is about to be a GREAT weekend. Why you ask? Well, The Weeknd has just released TWO more tracks off his upcoming album Starboy. The first of the two features Daft Punk for a second time and is titled “I Feel I Coming.” The signature Daft Punk sound is heard throughout the track with their classic synths and steady back beat. The track holds a perfect balance between funk guitar and the vocals we have all come to love. “I Feel It Coming” is all about falling for a girl who has previously been in a bad relationship. Abel sings about how he can be the one to console her as he’s been through similar situations. Abel just wants to build their relationship from the ground up and remind her what love is all about.

Everything about this track is flawless. How can one go wrong adding Daft Punk to the mix.
The second track entitled, “Party Monster” gives us a darker, grittier Weeknd that we grew up listening to. Revolving around the theme of getting back to his party lifestyle, Abel sings about mixing drinks, doing drugs, and waking up nest to girls he doesn’t know. Not something we can all relate to, but it definitely tells a capturing narrative. Notable lyrics:

Know its been a while, now I’m mixing up the drink
I just need a girl who gon’ really understand
Unfortunately it appears that this might be referencing Abel’s recent split with his long-time gf Bella Hadid. We understand that breakups are tough, but we can all agree that this will hopefully give influence to some fantastic music.
With Starboy set to release November 25th, at least we have these two additional tracks to hold us over. Bringing more excitement to the table, Abel also shared the entire track list on his Instagram, and let’s all just take a second to breath this in.
