Pssssst – have you heard?! 👂🏻 The MMVAs are now less than one week away! 😱 On Sunday, June 18th, the propped up stage in Downtown TO will be graced by the presence of hosts Alessia Cara and Joe Jonas, and performers Julia Michaels, Lorde, Arkells, DNCE plus WAYYYY more! 😍😍😍 We cannot even believe how many celebs will be around for this!
Here are the reasons why we are WAY TOO EXCITED for this eventttt 🎉🎉🎉
1. The Only Way In Is To Win
Because tickets to this event cannot be purchased, we know that every, single person in the crowd is just as big a fan of these artists as we are – they entered contests, sometimes time after time, to obtain those scarce wristbands. This means that we are all equally thrilled to be at the award show and the energy will be way way wayyy up there! 🔋

2. The Show Is Held in Downtown Toronto
That’s right, we’re excited for the 2017 MMVAs because this award show is held right in the core of Toronto, one of the leading entertainment cities in the entire country of Canada! This makes it so special for us, especially since our main office is located in this wonderful city! 😍
3. There Are Tons of Giveaways
Um, have you ever been on site for this award show? If you haven’t, don’t sweat it because WE HAVE and we can totes fill you in on what to expect leading up to the show; it’s composed of two words okay? …Free.Stuff. That’s right, if you get to DT TO before the evening itself, expect to be handed a tonnnn of free stuff from different companies that will be around that day (including #Umusic hollaaaa!) And who can ever complain about free stuff? We know we can’t! 😏
4. Cray-Cray Red Carpet Arrivals
This is one award show where, we have to say, we look veryyy forward to the red carpet ARRIVALS, as in, seeing how celebs will pull up to the event. As you can see below, from years prior, some peeps have had quiteee the entrance 🙌

5. The Show Takes Place Outdoors
Instead of taking place inside a venue, the MMVAs take place outside from beginning to end, whether that’s the red carpet, winner announcements or even the performances. Although we can’t guarantee you’ll see much, even if you don’t have a wristband come show day, we’re sure you’ll at least be able to hear the whole thing (over all of the screams of course). But hey, at least it’s something, whichhh is better than nothing! ☺️
