Following her Melodrama release — Lorde took to Toronto to perform two songs off the album at the iHeartRadio MMVAs.
And what a performance it was! Lorde entered the stage in an flowy red pantsuit, shaking the audience with her powerful “Green Light” intro vocals. As soon as the beat hit, Lorde danced her heart out – getting everyone into it.

This wasn’t it for the New Zealand native though. Lorde tore off her red coat and ran center stage into a crowd of singers wearing tracksuits. While she couldn’t be seen for a couple moments, her voice took over Queen Street as she started singing “Perfect Places.” Once the singers joined in, Lorde floated through to the front & ended the MMVAs gorgeously.
Did we mention she also brought fireworks?
We had chills by the end of it all. Lorde legit sounds EXACTLY like her record, live. Flawless performance. We cannot wait for her tour!
Lorde also took home iHeartRadio’s International Artist of the Year last night 🏆 – so many congrats.
