Whether you’re a movie fan or not, you can’t help but feel the energy of TIFF! Weekend 1 kicked off with a bang and we got some incredible premieres and performances from some of our fave artists.
Lady Gaga
First to premiere was Lady Gaga’s Netflix Documentary entitled “Gaga: Five Foot Two.” Watch as Queen Gaga struts down King Street in Toronto, leading up to the screening.
Before showing her doc to the world, Gaga held a press conference which you can also watch below:
She also performed a beautiful version of “Bad Romance” to the attentive audience.
Drake
Drizzy was also in town, premiering his film “The Carter Effect” that he produced with friend and basketball superstar, LeBron James.
Looking more dapper than ever, watch Drake slay the TIFF red carpet.
Right before the screening, Drake also shared a little secret of his own … not to be taken as fact we hope.
We can’t wait to watch this film in its entirety!
Arkells
Our Hamilton heroes performed at the RBCxMusic house and it was a PARTY! Watch Arkells take the energy to the next level.
Kendrick Lamar
Kung-Fu Kenny also made a surprise appearance in TO for TIFF, when he performed at the Canada Goose 60th anniversary party, hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel.
