Imagine Dragons Bring Music To Cardon Children’s Medical Center

Imagine Dragons bring the power of music to Cardon Children’s Medical Center.

On Tuesday, September 26th, the boys of Imagine Dragons set aside some time before their evening concert to jam out to some music in the Cardon Children’s Medical Center’s new music-therapy room called Sophie’s Place. It was a treat for all who attended.

Olivia Houk, the Center’s pediatric music therapist, said that Imagine Dragons connected with them through the Forever Young Foundation. This experience allowed the members of the band to understand the process and importance of music therapy.

Music therapy is a way to relieve stress and unites families during hard times. The guys set up a circle with the children, bringing along their drums, guitars and tambourines. Everyone in the room sang along to the music and the guys even gave tips to a little boy who said the first song he learned on guitar was “Radioactive“. How adorable?!

Absolutely beautiful.
