RapCaviar’s Finest Came Out To Play In Toronto

Posted on September 29, 2017

It was a time to celebrate for Spotify fans & hip-hop fans alike. The global streaming site brought their touring Hip-Hop show, RapCaviar, to Toronto with some of rap’s finest young artists. Headlining the night was Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. With those two names alone, one could expect the energy to be very high, and they did not disappoint.

RapCaviar, Spotify’s leading hip-hop playlist with just under 8 million followers, has been a major force in breaking new talent and defining trends within the genre. Playboi Carti – the latest rapper to come out of Atlanta and make some noise on a global scale – is currently the face of the RapCaviar playlist. His song “Magnolia” found huge success and solidified him as an artist to watch. He dropped his self-titled debut album in early 2017 and the hype hasn’t stopped.

Just when we thought the night couldn’t get any more electric, two huge surprises happened on stage. The first being Toronto’s own Killy, running on stage to perform his viral hit “Kilimanjaro”.

The next surprise guest out on stage was another Toronto native – Tory Lanez. Tory performed his hot track “Diego” and an additional track that he claimed was new! Check it out below:
