The Weeknd Announces Official Marvel Collab With Comic Book “Starboy”

The Weeknd is set to release a comic book in collaboration with Marvel called “Starboy”.

Earlier in the week, The Weeknd teased fans on Instagram and Twitter with a possible collab with Marvel. Finally he shared the news via social media of the comic book cover. Ahead of his appearance at this year’s NYC Comic Con, the announcement was released. Looks like The Weeknd is going to be playing a superhero himself – take a look below!

Lucky fans attending Comic Con got to meet the “Starboy” singer during his surprise visit on Saturday at the Marvel Booth. Although a ton of information was not given out about his superhero persona – he did hang out with a bunch of fans and signed autographs.

Curious as to when this is set to be released? It’s all definitely stayed hush hush about the release date, but we are hoping that it will be out soon! The cover of the first issue indicates 2018, so our fingers are crossed for Jan. 1st, right? 😉
