Lana Del Rey Performs Touching Tribute To Leonard Cohen

Lana Del Rey and Adam Cohen sing “Chelsea Hotel No. 2”

Lana Del Rey took part in a memorial concert held in Montreal, Quebec for Leonard Cohen. Held nearly one year after his passing, the memorial concert featured many singers alongside Lana.

The late singer’s son, Adam, invited Lana up on stage to perform a song. Together they sang a version of “Chelsea Hotel No. 2.” She originally covered the 1974 track back in 2013. And after his death, Lana took to her Instagram to pay tribute to Cohen. 

I’d be lying if I said it didn’t kind of break my heart that I never got to tell you how much you changed me. Not that it would’ve mattered to ya, it’s just that other than Bob and Joan you were the only person I ever really felt spoke my language. I love you as a real fan and I always looked for a little bit of you in all of my future friends. God bless.
