Is This The Next Big Boyband?

Posted on November 09, 2017

Just when you thought you couldn’t love Stranger Things any more.

Stranger Things meets The Late Late Show With James Corden. Who knew that the cast of the hit Netflix series, Stranger Things was in a Motown group with James Corden before making it big?

Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp joined James on his The Late Late Show with James Corden for a sketch about their forgotten cover band, The Upside Downs and it all got pretty crazy.

Greatest. Boy Band. Ever. #theupsidedowns. Watch out for this @j_corden kid – he does it all!

Explaining how they formed the band, Finn said, “Some people thought it was weird that James hung out with us because he’s an adult, but we actually went to school with him.”

However, things all went south for the group when the four boys landed their roles in Stranger Things – leaving James behind. “I mean, we miss it. We still miss it. So I called up the boys, and I said, ‘Let’s get the band back together for one more night,'” Finn added. Brilliant.

Of course their reunion had to end with an epic performance. The boys joined James Corden on stage with matching blue suits and took on an impressive Motown medley with hits like, “I’ll Be There,” “My Girl,” and “I Want You Back.” Talk about classic.
