What does it all mean?
Update: The 1975 have just announced that THIS Thursday at 7pm, they’ll be premiering a brand new song called “Give Yourself A Try” on BBC Radio 1 with Annie Mac.

The 1975 has been seriously teasing us and we’re now determined to get to the bottom of it. Last Friday on their Instagram, the band posted a little video clip partially obscured by the number seven. The next day, it was a six. We’re now down to four.
Along with the video clips, followers have been treated to cryptic images across their social media accounts like these:
Naturally, The 1975 fans all over the Internet collectively freaking out and trying to cope with all of this in their own ways.
Some are finding the suspense pretty difficult to bear…

While others are just living for the fact that the band is active on their socials again, regardless of any mystery.

From what we can tell so far, there’s a countdown of sorts and we’re getting awfully close to the end of it. The 1975’s website appears to have a countdown clock going too. What happens when the time runs out on that clock, we can’t be sure, so until then we’ll be playing detective.
