25 of our favourite Justin Bieber moments

Posted on February 15, 2019

On March 1st, Justin Bieber will be turning 25 years old. How time flies! To celebrate the Biebs reaching the quarter-century mark, here are 25 of our all-time favourite Justin Bieber moments.

Justin Covers “Cry Me a River”

Let’s throw it back to before Justin Bieber was famous. Here he is covering Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River” ELEVEN years ago on his YouTube channel. It’s amazing to see how far he’s come since then (and how talented he was as such a young age!)

My World 2.0

Justin released his album My World 2.0 in March 2010. It was his first studio album and was a benchmark moment for Justin’s career, as it propelled him into superstardom. It features unforgettable singles like “Baby”, “Something to Love”, and “U Smile.” Listen to the album here:

“Baby” Video

Who could forget Justin’s classic music video for his single “Baby”? When the video, which features rapper Ludacris, was released several years ago it made huge waves on the internet. Now, it has over 2 billion views – and counting.

“Baby” JUNO Performance with Drake

In 2010, Justin Bieber was joined by fellow Torontonian Drake to perform at the JUNO Awards. The duo shared the stage to perform an acoustic rendition of “Baby” which saw Drake adding in his own verse.

2011 JUNO Awards

The next year, Justin was nominated (and won!) two JUNO Awards for Fan Choice and Pop Album of the Year. He was touring at the time and wasn’t able to make the event, but he did film acceptance speeches for the show. He also filmed a hilarious skit with Drake and it’s a must-see:

2011 GRAMMY Award Performance

From the JUNO’s to the GRAMMY’s. In 2011 Justin Bieber took the stage with Usher and Jaden Smith to perform at the 52rd Annual Grammy Awards. Justin performed “Baby” and “Never Say Never,” and joined Usher on his song “OMG.” Check out that dance routine at the end!

Under the Mistletoe

In November 2011, Justin released his second studio album Under the Mistletoe. The Christmas album featured 15 festive tracks, including the singles “Mistletoe”, “All I Want For Christmas”, and “Pray.” Give it a listen:

Justin’s released his first video for his Christmas album was for the single “Mistletoe.” The catchy song is now a mainstay during the holidays amongst his fans, and it’s easy to see why:

All I Want for Christmas

Justin released his second video from Under the Mistletoe for the single “All I Want for Christmas.” The rendition of the classic song features Justin’s fellow singing-powerhouse, Mariah Carey:

Superfan Surprise on Ellen

The Biebs is no stranger to surprising his fans when they least expect it. He’s done it pretty often, but our favourite was this time in 2012 on Ellen.

Ellen Scares Justin

Speaking of surprises and Ellen – who could forget when she scared Justin senseless when he came to visit her show. It was hilarious! Justin took it like a champ.

Drum-off with Questlove

Justin Bieber is multi-talented. He can sing, he can dance, and he can play several instruments – including the drums. Check out this video of Justin having a drum-off with Questlove, one of the best percussionists in the business. He did pretty well!

Drummer Boy

JB’s drumming skills don’t come as a surprise to his longtime fans – they know he’s been playing for a while. Check out this clip of Justin playing the drums at just nine-years-old – that boy got SILLS.

Helping Hand for Haiti

Following a catastrophic earthquake in Haiti in 2010, several young artists came together to record “Wavin’ Flag” in attempt to raise money and awareness. Justin lent his talents to the cause, singing the chorus at the end of the song:

In 2012, Justin released his third studio album Believe. The album featured Justin with a more mature sound, and including the hit singles “Boyfriend”, “As Long as You Love Me,” and “Beauty and a Beat.” Check out the album here:

Power 106 Freestyle

JB can sing, dance, play guitar and play the drums. So, it’s no surprise that he can rap pretty well, too. Here he is freestyling on the legendary California radio station Power 106 FM.

Hot 97 Freestyle

And he did it twice! Justin visited HOT 97 to flex his freestyle skills one more time:

Beauty and a Beat

Speaking of talented rappers, Justin was joined by Nicki Minaj in the video for their song “Beauty and a Beat.” The video features a first-person view of what looks like a pretty dope party:

Dancing with the Stars Performance

Justin put on an unforgettable performance of his song “As Long as You Love Me” on the show Dancing with the Stars in 2012. Check out the fan at 3:15 – we can relate!

In 2015 Justin released his fourth and most recent studio album Purpose. The album was met with major commercial and critical success, and featured tracks like “What Do U Mean?,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself.”

Performance at 2016 BRITs

Justin gave a fiery performance of his songs “Love Yourself” and “Sorry” at the 2016 BRIT Awards. It’s lit!

Carpool Karaoke

Justin Bieber joined James Corden on his segment Carpool Karaoke to sing some of JB’s  tunes, along with some classics by other artists – all while sitting in a car. The video also shows Justin solving a rubix cube in a matter of seconds. What can’t he do?

Carpool Karaoke…again

So nice they did it twice! Justin returned to Carpool Karaoke with James Corden just a few months after his first appearance. This episode features more karaoke, of course, with Justin and James singing over some of Justin’s classic songs, and other classic hits, like Kanye West’s “Stronger.” They also go clothes shopping!

Between Two Ferns

Justin “Beevers” joined Zach Galifianakis on his hit dark-comedy web show “Between two Ferns.” Galifianakis throws some shade Justin’s way, but Justin wasn’t afraid to respond with his own. Watch the hilarious clip below:

BBC 1 Hangs Out at Justin’s House

Justin was kind enough to invite BBC 1 to his house, where he showed off his dog and his basketball skills:
