  (11 September 2013 - Toronto, ON) - Nine Inch Nails has debuted at the top of this week’s Nielson SoundScan Album Chart with their latest studio release, Hesitation Marks. As previously announced, the album was released last Tuesday (September 3) via an exclusive signing with Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company and marks the first #1 Canadian debut for this iconic band’s frontman, Trent Reznor. Hesitation Marks is the first release from Nine Inch Nails in over five years and being lauded by fans and critics alike. Reznor recorded the album with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder over the course of the past year. The lead track, ‘Came Back Haunted’ peaked at #2 on the Canadian Mediabase ALT chart. The new Nine Inch Nails lineup – Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Robin Finck, Trent Reznor and Ilan Rubin – debuted on July 26th at the Fuji Rock Festival in Naeba, Japan. The show marked Nine Inch Nails’ first live performance in nearly four years. Nine Inch Nails are currently on the first leg of their world tour and will be making their way to Canada in October with dates in Montreal and Toronto then back in November for a west coast swing of dates in Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary.
