14 APRIL 2023 (TORONTO, ON) - French Canadian songstress Lili-Ann De Francesco drops the brand new French single “Tout Recommencer” today via Maison Barclay Canada / Universal Music Canada.
The new song showcases Lili-Ann’s authentic songwriting abilities while capturing her signature style that nods to early Alanis Morrisette. The accompanying lyric video for the track is also out today. Watch HERE.
The breezy new break-up single speaks to the realization that no one deserves to be treated like a second choice. The song was inspired by a tough break-up that led Lili-Ann to understand her own self-worth and the independence within herself.
On the new single, Lili-Ann notes, “Writing ‘Tout Recommencer’ with my friends, was surreal. I felt so lucky to share what I had gone through with them,” she continues, “They helped me put words on how I was feeling at that moment. It’s really a privilege for me to be working with such beautiful talents.”
"Tout Recommencer” was written by Lili-Ann alongside Eric Charland and 2023 JUNO Award winner, Rêve with production by Milano. The song arrives as the first taste of new music coming from Lili-Ann later this year.
ABOUT LILI-ANN DE FRANCESCO:
Music has been an integral part of Lili-Ann De Francesco’s life since the early age of seven. Born and raised in Sainte-Adèle, Quebec, Lili performed with her father during much of her youth - appearing on stages as big as Quebec’s La Voix in 2015, making history as the show’s youngest contender ever and in 2019, released her first project, a self-titled, bilingual EP, which was a staple moment in her career. Lili is an authentic and intentional creator, who transfers candid emotions from her life experiences into her music, and also champions being an inspiration to others who face similar challenges.
