Acclaimed Band Releases ‘NOW FOR PLAN A’ Tuesday!(30 September 2012 – Toronto, ON) –Award winning and heralded band The Tragically Hip (TTH) today announced that they have taken over Supermarket (268 Augusta Avenue) in Toronto’s storied Kensington Market and opened a sort of “TTH Headquarters” in celebration of their new album, Now For Plan A. On top of performing free mini performances they will be selling exclusive and unique TTH merchandise and their new record. The band will meet and greet their fans in their ‘Reindeer Lounge’ inside the quaint Kensington Market address. To kick off the week, TTH invaded Supermarket this afternoon, stopping the pedestrian traffic with an impromptu performance in the window of the venue, giving fans a quick peek of what’s to come over the next three days. The Tragically Hip will release their highly anticipated new studio album, Now For Plan A on 02 October 2012 through Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. Now For Plan A was produced by Gavin Brown at both Noble Street Studios in Toronto and the band’s Bathouse Recording Studio in their native Kingston, ON.
