A VIRTUAL UNIVERSE FOR FANS TO EXPLORE THE WORLD OF HIS DEBUT ALBUM GABRIEL

 

 

22 APRIL 2022 (TORONTO, ON) - On Friday, April 22 at 12pm PST, keshi will unveil “HELL / HEAVEN: The Virtual Experience,” a 3D-immersive, accessible, and bespoke virtual world to celebrate the release of his debut album GABRIEL. It’s the first of its kind — a full multi-player indie game in a P2P network crafted specifically for this album. Fans will log in to the experience with their Spotify or Apple Music account, craft their personalizable keshi-verse avatar, and enter the world. They can chat with friends and fellow fans, complete quests, and unlock special secrets and exclusive merchandise while exploring the virtual world. The “HELL / HEAVEN” experience will be soundtracked by GABRIEL, of course.

 

This one-of-a-kind virtual world was crafted in collaboration with Storyboard Labs, a virtual world experience lab, who worked with keshi to leverage cutting-edge technology and push the boundaries of what fan experiences can look like and how personal they can be.

 

keshi’s debut studio GABRIEL earns the Top New Artist Debut of 2022 with the highest first-week sales for a debut album — landing GABRIEL a Top 20 slot on the Billboard 200 and #4 on the Billboard Top Album Sales charts. Out via Island Records, keshi’s magnum opus received praise from  MTV, “GABRIEL is a raw and revealing portrait of the man behind the artist,” while NPR described it as, “On his debut album GABRIEL, keshi showcases a newfound confidence..” GABRIEL also received critical acclaim from Allure, Consequence, CLASH, Rolling Stone, and more.
