YUNGBLUD ANNOUNCES LIVE ALBUM AND 2019 “DON’T WANNA BE A LONER TOUR” TOUR

05 March 2019 (Toronto, ON) - Today, Yungblud announced the March 22 release of his first live album – Live In Atlanta (Locomotion/Geffen Records/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company) – and his 2019 North American tour. The first leg of the “Don’t Wanna Be A Loner” tour kicks off on May 3 at Terminal West in Atlanta and includes a May 15 show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom. The second leg of the headline run will begin in June and includes two Canadian dates. Yungblud, who will kick off his sold-out tour of the UK/Europe tomorrow, will also play such festivals as Firefly, the Ottawa Blues Festival and Forecastle. See Canadian dates below.

 

An online ticket pre-sale for the “Don’t Wanna Be A Loner” tour will begin tomorrow, March 6, at 10:00 AM local time at yungbludofficial.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 8 starting at 10:00 AM local time, check your local box office for exact times.

 

NME praised Yungblud’s live show as “utterly thrilling.” Clash Magazine noted, “It's there when he performs live, this addictive nature that pulls fans closer and closer, demolishing the line between artist and crowd.”

 

Yungblud’s first ever live album, Live In Atlanta, was recorded during his sold-out October 10, 2018 show at Vinyl. The 12-track set kicks off with “21st Century Liability” – the title track of Yungblud’s 2018 debut album – and includes searing versions of “I Love You, Will You Marry Me”, “Psychotic Kids”, “California” and “Die For The Hype”. Multi-instrumentalist Yungblud (Dominic Harrison) was born in Yorkshire, England. He first picked up a guitar at age two and began writing his own songs when he was only 10. At an early age, Yungblud moved to London to kick-start his career. Cumulative global streams of his songs now exceed 140 million.

 

He kicked off 2019 with the release of his new single, “Loser”, which NME praised as “one of his biggest anthems ever.” “11 Minutes” by Yungblud & Halsey feat.
