“The Albums 2002-2012” covers the final four albums that Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart recorded for Anthem Records. The collection includes “Vapor Trails” (2002), “Feedback ” EP (2004), “Snakes & Arrows” (2007) and “Clockwork Angels” (2012). “The Albums: 2002-2012” also features reimagined artwork of all four albums as well as a beautifully designed slipcase from award-winning artist Hugh Syme who has created all of Rush’s album cover art since 1975.
“Vapor Trails” - This was the band's first new album of the 21st Century and it redefines their intensely individualistic music, blending their famously complex dynamics with driving melodic hooks and a passionate, personal lyric approach.
“Feedback” EP - Released in 2004, Feedback is an EP of cover tunes. It features covers of songs by The Who, The Yardbirds, Love, Cream, Buffalo Springfield and more.
“Snakes & Arrows” - The band’s first complete studio album since 2002, it was recorded at Allaire Studios. The album was co-produced with Grammy Award-winner Nick Raskulinecz. Completed months ahead of schedule, and as Alex recalled: “We had access to two studios and nothing else to do at night.”
“Clockwork Angels” – The album was recorded at Blackbird Studio in Nashville and Revolution Recording in Toronto. Produced with Grammy Award winner Nick Raskulinecz, with whom the band collaborated with previously. The album chronicles a young man’s quest across a lavish and colorful world of steampunk and alchemy as he attempts to follow his dreams. The story features lost cities, pirates, anarchists, exotic carnival, and a rigid Watchmaker who imposes precision on every aspect of daily life
