d4vd (pronounced David) never set out to become a platinum recording artist… it just happened. After facing copyright strikes on his gaming YouTube channel, his mom simply suggested that he try making his own music. d4vd began recording his own songs inside his sister’s closet on the app BandLab.  One of those songs, “Romantic Homicide,” recorded entirely on an iPhone, reached No. 32 on the Canadian charts and led to d4vd signing to Darkroom/Interscope before he even graduated high school.

Since then, d4vd has let his eclectic taste run wild, with a run of genre-defying singles and music videos, running up over 1.5B global streams. He recently released “Sleep Well”—a heart-wrenching lullaby about a lover who is slowly drifting away. “Sleep Well” sets the tone for his upcoming EP ‘Petals to Thorns’, dropping on May 26, followed by a European / North American tour including stops in Toronto and Vancouver. In the meantime, here are a few d4vd essentials to get you up to speed on his discography:
1. "Romantic Homicide" - Music Video
2. “Sleep Well” - Music Video
3. “Here With Me” - Music Video
