From: Ottawa Genre: Pop For fans of: Demi Lovato, Halsey, Tate McRae Jamie Fine’s music might be the only thing that’s as lively as her personality. A proud open book, the Ottawa-born singer, songwriter, and artist is smart, talented, hilarious, and most of all honest. She’s the kind of dynamic presence who inspires the rest of us to be a little bit louder, a tad more fearless, and just better all around. Jamie decided to pursue music full-time in 2017 and reached platinum heights in the duo Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine, scoring a series of smashes in Canada. 2020 saw Jamie step out solo and craft a signature style of her own. She proceeded to re-introduce herself with a series of singles and her debut EP eight gardengate. Most recently, Jamie went viral with her single “If Anything’s Left”, racking up 10M global streams and running up 40k creates on TikTok. “If Anything’s Left” also made a splash on the charts and is currently sitting at #50 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. Last week, Jamie followed up “If Anything’s Left” with “Mistaken”—a song that shows off another side of her artistry. “‘Mistaken’ is about confronting how I've felt my whole life,'“ says Jamie. “It's about taking something that was always a negative and turning into the reason I push myself in healthy ways to achieve what I set out to. I love being able to release music across the spectrum; some of it being uplifting and positive, others being darker and more emotional. We can't have all perfect days - far from it - and my hope is to be able to make music that can get people through every type of day.” Next up, Jamie is hitting the road to bring her positive energy to fans around the world, opening for Bryce Vine this fall and travelling to South Africa to perform FIVE shows, including South Africa Pride! Keep an eye out for a show near you ❤️
