JUNO-nominated band Valley formed by accident after a local studio double booked them in high school. At the time, Mickey and Karah played in one band, while Rob and Alex played in another, until they all showed up in the same studio that day. While they met by chance, their success has come from their relentless dedication to the craft—reaching for new heights with every song, every project, and every era.

Valley introduced themselves with self-written, self-produced releases, including the EP This Room Is White (2016) and full-length debut MAYBE (2019), followed by sucks to see you doing better (2020) and Last Birthday (2021). Along the way, they’ve cracked the code on crafting songs that have resonated worldwide, including their Gold single “Like 1999” that originated from a viral TikTok post in 2021.

Fans of Valley love their keen attention to detail, with every new song and project living in a fully immersive visual world with tons of Easter Eggs just waiting to be discovered. Of course, Valley’s recorded work is only half of the appeal—the band has cut their teeth playing countless live shows opening for the likes of Lennon Stella, The Band CAMINO and Arkells plus performing at renowned music festivals across the globe. With their sophomore album Lost In Translation coming this summer and a ton of tour dates lined up, Valley is hitting their stride.
