Philip Lynott was a renowned Irish musician who is best known as the lead vocalist, bassist, and primary songwriter of Thin Lizzy.  He was noted for his distinctive pick-based style on the bass and for his imaginative lyrics, including working-class tales and numerous characters drawn from personal influences and Celtic culture.

This 8CD album celebrates his solo career over discs compiled by Thin Lizzy expert Nick Sharp and includes his unreleased second album as well as a tranche of unreleased material from the archives. The extensive booklet has a new sleeve notes by Mark Blake (Mojo) and is filled with photography and memorabilia. The album is fully supported by his estate as a fitting tribute to the great man’s work.
